What the listing names
Hiding options in the official description are closets, vents, and barricaded doors. The entity hears footsteps and voice. The tutorial adds that it sees your light and that you should crouch. None of the three spots is documented as a guaranteed save.
Closets
Break the chase before you commit to a closet, then stay still. Creators have shown an entity dragging a player out of a closet or locker. An October 13 frame shows a KICK meter with the words PERFECT COVER. The meter is unexplained. Do not treat a perfect reading as a known safe timer.
Vents
Vents are official, and the screwdriver unscrews the entrance. The screwdriver cannot be sold. Without one, do not route an escape through a cover. Know which end you can leave from before the hunter reaches the opening you used.
Barricaded doors
The listing names barricaded doors. It does not name planks, nails, or a furniture shove. One October 11 shop note mentioned a barricade kit around 200 coins. That price was not rechecked on the Version 1.5 shop. Glue sticks from another walkthrough were not tied to a recipe.
- Read the door prompt in the current build.
- If it offers a barricade and you already own the kit, do not spend your only exit by accident.
- Open and close are not the same as barricade.
- Do not import a building recipe from another game.
Noise and light
Crouch while you move. Control was the PC crouch. Speech and a whistle are risks when the microphone indicator is live. Flick a light on to read a room, then off before you cross. Throw with hold F only if you want the noise.
