The price on the item is the price

The listing's stable rule is that rarer loot pays more and slows you down, from phones to gold bars. The current text says 37 items. Older October descriptions said 31. A name list from before the Halloween update is a sighting log, not a complete Version 1.5 catalog.

Prices roll. One laptop family was seen at $35, $173, and $332. Cash is paid at the exit, so an unextracted $332 laptop loses to a $20 mug that leaves. Example extracts from community runs include about $255, $360, $500, $810, and $1,500.

Observed prices

These readings are mostly mid-October 2026. Recheck them in Version 1.5.

Other sighted names without prices are in the loot catalog: all-in-one PC, consoles, projector, camera, guitar, record player, tablet, toolbox, lamp, extinguisher, lab sample case, chair, bucket, lantern, granny bag, keyboard, and headphones. Mythic has appeared as a discovery word. Only Rare and Mythic are confirmed tags.

Weight and throwing

The HUD shows kilograms and can say you are maxed out. Hard points: microwave at 11 kg, mini fridge at about half speed, starter bag 15 kg in the October 16 shop, and a $2,000 step to 20 kg. Throwing loot did no damage in one test and was called noise. Keyboards are the throwable example. Hold F was the PC throw.

A bag you can finish

  1. Take a phone or another light item so the run already has an ending.
  2. Add a watch, tablet, or bag while the way back is obvious.
  3. Take a drive, painting, or high laptop roll only on a route you can name.
  4. Leave the fridge and the microwave unless the open exit is close.
  5. Extract when the seal drops.

Map notes are on the map pages. The tier list is an editorial sort of these same observations.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any working Steal Or Die codes?

No code string is verified for this Vantage Gameworks experience. The current description does not list a redemption reward, and shop checks through October 20, 2026 did not show a Codes tab. That does not prove a code button can never be added.

How do you keep the loot?

The exit starts sealed. Carry what you can still move, then hold E at the exit after it opens. Tutorial text says the haul counts only if you walk out, and a death inside removes it.

How many maps and entities are listed?

Version 1.5 names four maps: Facility, Office, American Dorm, and Supermarket. It says there are five entities and prints The Locust and The Hollow. The other names are not in that sentence.

Can you play as the monster?

Yes. The listing says you can be the entity. Recorded votes choose ENTITY: AI or ENTITY: PLAYER. An October 16 shop sold Rictus, Locust, and Wendell for the player-entity role, and the purchase did not guarantee the turn.

Why do item prices disagree between guides?

A laptop was seen at $35, $173, and $332. A printed price is one roll. The rule that stays put is that rarer loot pays more and slows you down.
