What is The Hollow?

The current listing names The Hollow with The Locust and says five entities exist. It also says you can play as the entity, and that the hunter hears footsteps and voice. On October 16 a player was put in as The Hollow, saw the exit still sealed, ran out of stamina, and had to learn the attack by closing distance. That video does not publish speed, damage, or a vision cone. Claims that Hollow's own view is heavily cropped are fan readings and are not filed as a stat.

How do you get The Hollow?

The Hollow can be the round's entity. An October 16 PLAY AS list priced Rictus, Locust, and Wendell and did not show a Hollow price. Later review treated Hollow as the observed default. Buying another monster does not force the hunter role.

How do you use The Hollow?

As Hollow, spend stamina on a real chase and watch the exit timer. Survivors win by holding the interact key at the open exit. As a survivor, do not trust a closet: creators have shown an entity pulling people out. Keep a path you can still run.

Is the fifth monster named?

Version 1.5 says five entities and a new Halloween entity, then names The Locust and The Hollow. It does not print the new name. The Rictus and The Wendell are older shop names, not a confirmed identity for that fifth slot.
